The great innovation in music world taken from the web is the decentralization of the artist provenience, everyone could do amazing stuff everywhere, the necessary is just a computer and an internet line, althought everybody knows the importance of being in London, Berlin or New York. So there are lot of artists coming from lower importance city, could be Buenos Aires, Catania, Lisbon or in this case Belgrad, in Serbia, where Svetlana HQ is based. The guys has just launched a new podcast mix series, called the Svetlana Shortcast, and they’ve asked a bunch of people they’re into to do short mixes, starting from Teebs a month ago, till the second edition with COCO BRYCE.
Here’s their presentation: “Coco Bryce comes out of the healthy Dutch bass and beats scene. He runs his own boutique vinyl label, Myor, who’ve released shit from Slugabed, Rekordah and soon our friends 1000names. He’s also connected with the influential Lowriders Collective to whom Svetlana offers great respects, and Lowriders is going to drop a Coco release on their own neonate label very soon. Coco’s scene is closer to the harder, synthier sound typified by Loops Haunt and Slugabed, but here he delivers a truly varied selection, witty, unpredictable and grittily fun”.
The mix is a weird amazing 30 minutes trip into very different music generes towards a sunny and beatiful world of broken beats, elegant melodies  and romantic sounds you’ll love as me at first shot, unfortunately tracklist is well kept secret in Coco pocket, so just listen and love it.
